Pino Minelli (PM) earned a degree in Mechanical Engineer from Milan´s Polytechnic University (Italy).
 
He has specialized in Industrial management and Simulation and Operations Research (using, among other languages: GPSS, Simula, and WITNESS). He has developed an important part of his professional career as a consultant in the following subjects: CIM (Computer Aided Manufacturing), FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System), Artificial Intelligence Systems, Expert Systems and, Neural Nets.

For eight years PM served as a consultant and modeler at DELOS (an Olivetti Information Services firm) in Milano, as Senior , devoted to the study, execution and marketing of simulation systems in Industrial, Trade and Services industries.

Previously he acquired a comprehensive technological and management experience working for hi-tech companies such as BUITONI PERUGINA (Perugia) where he was the Production Manager and Management and Operating Coordination Manager. He also worked as a Systems Engineer at IBM Italy (Milano).

PM has published several articles and chapters in textbooks about Industrial Economy, Management, Computer Science and Intelligent Systems applied to decision-making.
