Manuel Palao (MP) holds university degrees in Civil Engineer and in Computer Science, a diploma in Sociology and another one in Statistics and Operations Research.
 
MP attended graduate courses on Advanced Decisions Theory and on Information Systems.
 
He wrote his first program in 1963; taught his first courses on Company Organization and Rationalization in 1964 and carried out his first audits and consulting engagements on computer safety in 1978.

Since 1974, MP has been engaged in both consulting (IS Management and IS Auditing in particular) and training.

MP has experience of rationalization, reengineering, planning, information systems, quality management and audit engagements for a large number of international and Spanish companies.

He is a CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor).

He devotes a significant part of his time to studying and teaching. Author of one book and of hundreds of professional articles.
